The course provides an introduction to the use of point of care ultrasound for cardiac issues at beginner level. You will learn to evaluate the systolic function of the left ventricle. The course will also cover hemodynamic changes in the context of major pulmonary embolism and how to detect pericardial effusion. You will receive a comprehensive overview of the cardiac anatomy and learn how to obtain the basic cardiac imaging windows.
